   I don’t reckon so. . . . and if someone did do it, you would have to wait for the skin to grow. . . eww. weird.
   Plus it would be really damn expensive. Thats crazy technology.

   It is possible, yes. It is a process that is utilized in patients who have suffered very extensive total body surface area burns (usually 75% or greater). The general term for them are cultured epidermal autografts.
   A company called Genzyme produces them under the name Epicel.
   They are used for acute burn care to provide coverage to burns, not really for burn scar treatment. Treatment of burn scars are usually done with burn scar releases and full thickness skin grafts. The expense of a cultured epidermal autograft precludes their use in burn scar treatment and they contract the same as split thickness skin grafts preventing their use in improving burn scar contractures.
